| anticipation of next years swap/build. Is 700hp attainable on 91-93 octane pump gas with a conservative tune? When I say conservative tune, I mean that I wouldn't want the a/f maxed out just to reach the 700 hp mark. Ideally I would like a nice meaty a/f curve with a lot of midrange. Let's just say for the sake of argument that money is not a factor. What kind of mods would need to be done to acheive 700 ponies and still have a reliable car that can be daily driven? Allow me to clarify what exactly the Z will be used for: Road racing Daily driver in the summer This will NOT be a dyno queen. I've slowly been doing my research and I've compiled a short list of things I assume would be needed, and keep in mind im keeping this as simple as possible without going into detail. Sport 700's MSP manifolds Oversized throttle bodies Oversized intake piping 2.5-3 inch exhaust 850 cc injectors Upgraded pistons, rings, rods, etc. Word on the street is the stock cams are more than adequate. Any thoughts on all of this?
